Belle & Co. is an interesting new non-alcoholic wine manufacturer. They have created two sparkling wines including a sparkling white and the sparkling rose I tried today.
To create their wines Belle & Co. use a careful balance of sparkling fermented grape juice and premium tea infusion to produce a refreshing non-alcoholic drink. Unlike other companies, to avoid alcohol content Belle & Co. uses bacterial fermentation and adds green tea for that tannin/ tart flavour profile.
I’ve reviewed quite several alcohol-free sparkling wines so have pretty high expectations so, the question is is Belle & Co wine worthy of a place on My Dry Bar? Well, you’ll just need to read my review below to find out.
Is Belle and Co Non-alcoholic Sparkling Rose any good?
Taste
Thankfully this is another tasty non-alcoholic sparkling wine. Belle and Co have managed to make a well balanced sparkling Rosé crammed full of red fruit flavours with a bittersweet citrus and grape background. Unlike other non-alcoholic Rosé’s this one isn’t too sweet and, thanks to appropriate carbonation, is a perfect drink to enjoy chilled on a summer’s day.
Aroma & Appearance
When you open up a bottle of Belle and Co you are hit with a delicate and inviting aroma with notes of ripe strawberries and floral undertones. As you can see in the glass this wine pours with classic Rose colour.
