Alcohol-free ciders

Summary

Type – non-alcoholic cider
Review – If you are looking for a range of non-alcoholic ciders from pear through to apple ciders then MyDryBar has it covered. We’ve continued to review the best alcohol-free ciders out there so you can sit back and enjoy a refreshing and tasty drink.

alcohol-free ciders

Given the rise in booze-free drinking, it wasn’t really surprising that alcohol-free ciders have begun to pop up on supermarket shelves. No doubt you’ll see non-alcoholic versions from well know brewers such as Kopparberg but you’ll also come across offerings from independent brewers too.

In general, you’ll find that apples and pears are the two key tastes for these ciders but you’ll also find mixed fruit and berry ciders sitting alongside more unique flavours.  Just like beers, alcohol-free ciders can be quite hit and miss however most options on the market remain sweet and refreshing just like their alcoholic alternatives.

Top non-alcoholic ciders

Galipette 0%

non-alcoholic galipette cider

Galipette is one of the best non-alcoholic ciders I’ve had, full of refreshing semi-sweet, tart flavours. Carbonation was also spot on and polishing off a bottle didn’t have me feeling full afterwards

Thatchers Zero Apple Cider

Sometimes ciders can be too sweet but Thatchers have managed to create a lovely bittersweet cider – called ZERO – that is both refreshing and dry.

If you’re a fan of Thatcher’s ciders then this alcohol-free alternative version is definitely worth tasting.

Where can you buy alcohol-free cider?

At the time of writing, you can find a lot of alcohol-free ciders at your local supermarket. However, there are a number of online specialists, such as Wise Bartender and Dry Drinker featured below that offer a selection of ciders. I did find that the US market is a lot more limited when it comes to non-alcoholic ciders.

Non-alcoholic Galipette Cider Review

I had high expectations of this non-alcoholic cider given Galipette’s pedigree and thankfully I wasn’t disappointed. This is one of the best non-alcoholic ciders I’ve had, full of refreshing semi-sweet, tart flavours. Carbonation was also spot on and polishing off a bottle didn’t have me feeling full afterwards.

Non-alcoholic Magners Review

Magners 0.0% is a decent enough non-alcoholic cider with lots of punchy apple flavours, I just found it a bit too sweet for my liking.

Holly GoLightly Cider

Celtic Marches have produced a tasty and refreshing cider in the form of Holly GoLightly. Expect sweet and acidic flavours cut-through by the cider’s natural tannins.
