Is Spritz Ish any good?

Well, I can see why it is award-winning … and that’s because it’s super tasty. This is just the type of drink I go for – that blend of bitter and sweet. To me, it tasted like a slightly subtler negroni and wasn’t a million miles from Lyre’s Italian Spritz.  You certainly get a mouthful of sweet fruit, I picked out lemons, oranges and tangerines which is closely followed by the warming cinnamon and bitter quassia. Great stuff.

Aroma & Appearance

Spritz Ish had a pretty citrusy and bitter smell to it (reminiscent of the taste). When poured into the glass over ice, it gave a colourful and enticing amber colour. 

Bonus points

As a premixed cocktail Spritz ISH is going to be suitable for most drinkers given it’s both gluten-free, vegan friendly and just 30 kcals per 100 ml. The most frustrating thing about this drink is the fact it’s so hard to find. I’ve not yet seen it on supermarket shelves but I do know it can be purchased from online specialists.
