There is something nostalgically brilliant about a pina colada. Personally, this cocktail reminds me of sipping my mums in the 1980s whilst holidaying in Spain. So when I saw a non-alcoholic version of the Pina Colada cocktail by Twisst I had to try it out.
This is the second mocktail I’ve tried of Twisst’s (the first being a non-alcoholic Baileys which was very tasty). Twisst is based in the UAE but does ship internationally and has four different drinks to choose from including a Mojito and a Virgin Mary.
So what exactly goes into a Pina Colada? Well, to make an alcoholic one you need a combination of rum, coconut cream and pineapple juice which is shaken with ice (and served with a small cardboard umbrella). Twisst has taken the classic flavours of a Pina Colada and combined them into their non-alcoholic version.

Is Non-Alcoholic Pina Colada any good?
Taste
Twisst have pulled off another blinder with their non-alcoholic Pina Colada. They have managed to create a really tasty alcohol-free version of this classic. You certainly get a decent hit of pineapple juice and coconut flavours which combine together very well for a creamy delight. It is a bit sweet which the rum in the classic version would cut-through but its still very tasty indeed.
Aroma & Appearance
When you first open the carton you can immediately smell the tropical (pineapple) vibes filling the air. I am not going to lie, it’s not the prettiest of cocktails, looking more watery than creamy but you can always go the extra mile and add a glacier cherry.
Bonus points
Like other Twisst mocktails, this is zero alcohol and its suitable for those who are gluten-free. The packaging is also unique with its carton appearance and quality foil seal.
