Marks and Spencer has been on a bit of a run lately with some great releases of alcohol-free drinks; regular MDB readers would know I gave their AF Peachy Ale a great score. So when I saw their alcohol-free Czech lager, I knew I had to try it out.
This beer is actually produced by the Litovel Brewery exclusively for M&S. Litovel itself is from the Olomouc District in Czech Republic who is well known for a great selection of beers.
Litovel uses classic ingredients, including Zatec hops, to create this refreshing lager and even though its 0.5% they aim to maintain the classic lager traits.

Is M&S Alcohol-free lager any good?
Taste
Again, M&S have done a great job in creating a top-quality non-alcoholic beer. It’s really hard to distinguish this from an alcholic lager as its got the hoppy sharpness with some background sweetness. I felt the carbonation was spot on and not too gassy. Overall a great alcohol-free lager and one I can recommend.
Aroma & Appearance
You get some classic lager aromas when you open a bottle of this alcohol-free lager. In the glass, it has a darkish amber look and a substantial frothy head.
