Non-alcoholic Stacked AF Pale Ale
DRINK SUMMARY

Drink review – Barsham’s Stacked AF has got some interesting pale ale flavours but to be honest it is a bit lacking in body and thus comes across a bit light and watery; there are better non-alcoholic pale ale’s out there with more ‘bite’.
Stacked AF, a beer I found on Wise Bartender, is brewed by Barsham Brewery, a small brewery based in Norfolk, UK
Over the past decade, Barsham has been creating a number of beers including Stackyard Stacked AF, their non-alcoholic pale ale I tried today.
To create their beers they grow their own malting barley and thanks to the unique micro-climate in this coastal region they are able to grow some of the best malting barley in the world.
Interestingly Stacked AF pale ale comes in at just 0.3% ABV compared to others that are traditionally 0.5% ABV. This beer is also suitable for both gluten-free and vegan drinkers.
So the question is, how stacked will I feel after drinking this Barsham Brewery beer? Well, you’ll just need to read my review below to find out.
Is Stacked AF any good?
Taste
With Barsham’s Stacked AF you do get some interesting pale ale flavours (especially malt) but to be honest it is a bit lacking in body and thus comes across a bit light and watery for my liking. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t undrinkable, but there are better non-alcoholic pale ale’s out there with more ‘bite’.
Aroma & Appearance
You get some floral, malty aromas released when you crack open a can of Stackyard. In the glass, it pours with a medium golden amber look and a short frothy head.
