Drink review – Carl Jung alcohol-free sparkling wine was pretty good and reminiscent of a dry prosecco. You get a dry, crisp mouthful with some background peach and apple notes. The carbonation was also spot on and it wasn’t overall gassy.
For over 100 years and 5 generations, Carl Jung has been creating and perfecting non-alcoholic wines. So it was no surprise I would eventually run into this brand of at some point; and it was the sparkling Mousseux I discovered.
Dr Carl Jung, from Germany, founded his alcohol-free wine company back in 1909, pioneering the revolutionary vacuum technique to remove alcohol; making him one of the OG’s in the alcohol-free world.
Since their inception, Carl Jung has gone on to create many different AF wines and there are now over ten different ones to choose from including red, white and sparkling wines, so there is bottle for every occasion.
Carl Jung’s Mousseux is an alcohol-free alternative for sparkling wine lovers made from organic grapes and is suitable for vegans.

I am pleased to say that Carl Jung alcohol-free sparkling wine was pretty good and reminiscent of a dry prosecco. You get a dry, crisp mouthful with some background peach and apple notes. The carbonation was also spot on and it wasn’t overall gassy. Overall, a decent non-alcoholic wine from a well-known producer.
Aroma & Appearance
When you pop open a bottle of Carl Jung wine expect a noseful of sparkling citrus notes. In the glass it has a light white wine colour with a light carbonation.
