Drink review – If you are looking for a fruity and refreshing mouthful you cant go wrong with Below Brew’s non-alcoholic sour beer. Crammed full of different flavoured fruit purees this makes for an excellent choice in summer.
Below Brew Co (previously named Lowtide) is a UK brewery specialising in non-alcoholic beers. Since their creation, they have produced a range of non-alcoholic beers including a pale ale, a Juicy DDH pale ale and the Smoothie Sour I tried today.
To create ‘Tweet and Sour’ Below Brew Co has used a unique blend of peach, apricot and raspberry purees and produced a beer with sweet and sour smoothie flavours and a sour punch; a perfect beer for sipping under the sun.
Along with interesting and exciting flavoured beer they are also big on their can art and work with loads of artists to come up with original and unique patterns.

Is Below Brew Non-alcoholic Beer any good?
Taste
This is definitely one of the most original-tasting beers I’ve tried. I certainly got a real fruity mouthful from all the purees they’ve added to it. Carbonation was tight and I didn’t feel too bloated after finishing off the can. If you are into sour beers then Below Brew’s option is certainly worth testing out.
Aroma & Appearance
As you can expect there were plenty of fruity aromas when I opened a can of ‘Tweet and Sour’. In the glass it had a cloudy amber look and poured with a short forthy head
