Drink review – Estrella Damm 0.0% is one of the best alcohol-free lagers I’ve tried this year. You get a crisp, refreshing, hoppy beer with a subtle malty sweetness. Overall, a fantastic Spanish beer and one I can recommend you try out.
When I first saw Estrella Damm 0.0 I thought I had already reviewed it, but I was mistaken, as the one I reviewed previously was Estrella Galicia (a different company altogether). This particular alcohol-free lager is brewed by brewery giant – S.A. Damm.
Estrella Damm is, as mentioned brewed by SA DAMM in Barcelona, Spain and has been producing beer since 1876,; and if you are wondering about the name it means ‘star’ in English. There are currently seven different beers they offer including the alcohol-free lager I tried today.
Just like the alcoholic lagers, this version still follows the OG recipe and only uses 100% natural ingredients, including barley malt, rice and hops. Thanks to advanced vacuum distillation the beer is able to preserve its malt and hop flavours whilst being a 0% alcohol, gluten-free, low calorie beer.

Pleased to say that Estrella Damm 0.0 was a really tasty alcohol-free lager. You get a crisp, refreshing, hoppy beer with a subtle malty sweetness. After drinking a can I went back for another as the carbonation did not leave me feeling bloated. Overall, a fantastic beer and one I can recommend you try out.
Aroma & Appearance
When you first crack open a can of this beer a sweet hoppy aroma is released. In the glass it pours with a light amber body and a full thick frothy head.
