Drink review – Well, the good news is that TRIP makes a very tasty CBD drink indeed, especially enjoyed the refreshing sparkling mint flavour. That said I didn’t feel any noticeable chilled vibes, even after an hour or so but that doesn’t mean it won’t have a different impact on others. Looking forward to tasting the other TRIP flavours.
CBD drinks have had an enormous boost in popularity over the past couple of years (check out the recent Goodrays CBD review). So when I saw TRIP in my local supermarket with its chilled-out branding I immediately added it to the basket.
TRIP is a British company founded in 2019 whose goal is to share only the highest quality CBD products with their customers. They have quite the selection on offer, from gummies and oils to the alcohol-free CBD cans I tried out. Currently, there are six flavours to choose from (including Lemon Basil and Peach Ginger) but the one I tried out today was Elderflower and Mint.
For those unsure on what CBD itself is, it’s a legal (in the UK anyway) natural plant compound extract that helps the mind to relax and feel a bit more zen after a busy day. The CBD TRIP use is mixed with sparkling water and various fruit juices and botanical extracts to create a tasty and refreshing drink.
So the question is, did I feel more zen after my TRIP? Well, you’ll just need to read my review below to find out.
Are CBD TRIP drinks any good?
Taste
Well, the good news is that this is a very tasty drink indeed. I had it on a pretty warm evening so that refreshing sparkling mint flavour was perfect. Like other CBD drinks I tried I didn’t feel any noticeable chilled vibes, even after an hour or so but that doesn’t mean it won’t have a different impact on others. Looking forward to tasting the other TRIP flavours.
Aroma & Appearance
You can certainly smell the mint aromas when you open up a can of TRIP with some subtle elderflower aromas. In the glass, it has a cloudy look with some light carbonation.
