Drink review – I had high expectations of this non-alcoholic cider given Galipette’s pedigree and thankfully I wasn’t disappointed. This is one of the best non-alcoholic ciders I’ve had, full of refreshing semi-sweet, tart flavours. Carbonation was also spot on and polishing off a bottle didn’t have me feeling full afterwards.

Galipette (meaning forward roll) is a long established French cider making business based in Brittany and Normandy; a perfect region for growing juicy apples. I came across their non-alcoholic cider whilst in Waitrose and knew I had to give it a go.
Over time Galipette has gone on to produce a number of award-winning ciders including Galipette 0% that I tried today. In order to create their non-alcoholic cider Galipette use a number of apple varieties from the local region and runs a short fermentation process to restrict alcohol creation.

I had high expectations of this non-alcoholic cider given Galipette’s pedigree and thankfully I wasn’t disappointed. This is one of the best non-alcoholic ciders I’ve had with fantastic sweet and tart flavours. Carbonation was also spot on and finishing off a bottle didn’t have me feeling full afterwards. Overall, it is a refreshing and enjoyable alcohol-free cider and recommended drinking.
Aroma & Appearance
Classic apple aromas are released when you pop open a bottle of Galipette. In the glass, this cider has a light golden amber colour with tight carbonation.
