Drink review – If you are a fan of super-sweet sugary fruit drinks then Frizbi is a perfect choice but if you have a more ‘sophisticated’ palette you may want to look elsewhere. That said Frizbi drinks could make a good mixer for the non-alcoholic spirits.

I came across Frizbi drinks when I was looking for some snacks at my local store. There was a full range of colourful and interesting looking bottles and flavours that shared similarities with other mocktails I’ve tried. As such I thought I would grab a couple of bottles and give them a taste.

Non-alcoholic Frizbi drinks are produced by Turkish company Star Drinks who have created quite the portfolio of high-quality soft and energy drinks.

As you can see from the image below there is a full suite of different Frizbi flavours to choose from including combos such as Watermelon and Strawberry or Lemon and Mint as well as exotic standalone drinks including Lychee, Pomegranate and Passion fruit.

The two flavours I tried today were Apple and Grape and Berry Mix.

Are Frizbi drinks any good?

Taste

If you are a fan of super sweet soft drinks then Frizbi drinks are going to be a perfect choice. They certainly don’t shy away from bold flavours but I found that the Apple and Grape was a bit too artificial tasting. That said, adding a non-alcoholic spirit or simply served with ice will result in a pleasant enough drink

Aroma & Appearance

Well, you get some sweet fruit flavours when you open up a bottle of Frizbi. Don’t be fooled by the colourful exterior though as its clever packaging, the drinks themselves were a lot less luminous (which is probably a good thing).
